The point of this journal, blog, diary (whichever you like) is for me to be able to share my enthusiasm, frustration, delight, and addiction with yarn. I say yarn in general because I would like to learn to knit and I'm not going to limit myself by saying this will only be about crochet. It probably won't just be about yarn as I'm starting down the road of learning jewelry making as well. But for now, yarn suffices. I hope that you'll join me on this journey! It's going to be a blast!
I finished my first pair of socks. While they are far from perfect, I am delighted with them as is their owner Dee!
Yarn: Sunrise Fiber Co. Classic Sock in French Blue. You can find her shop here. Needles: US 2, 2.75mm Takumi Bamboo DPNs from Clover Pattern: Craftsy Ladies Lace Knee Socks, heavily modified to meet Dee’s wants for a pair of socks. Reinforced with elastic in the cuff because she didn’t want ribbing to hold it up. We also discovered that one of her legs is smaller than the other.
